ASRT Makes Changes to it's CE Policy

Good news for Radiologic Technologists and Radiation Therapists. ​The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) had made some positive changes it's Continuing Education Policy. Please see below for an explantion of those changes. 

1. Repeating Courses – Technologists may repeat any course for CE, so long as they complete it in a different biennium. Technologists cannot repeat a course during the same biennium.
2. Reduced Number of Test Questions for Self-Learning Courses – The number of test questions required for self-learning activities has been reduced from 20 questions per credit to 8 questions per credit. To calculate the necessary number of questions, multiply the credit count of the course by 8. For example, a 3.5 credit course would require 28 questions.
3. New Credit Length – The ARRT will allow courses that last 15 minutes to 29 minutes. These courses will be approved for .25 credits.
4. Expiration Dates on Certificates – All certificates must include the expiration date of the CE activity.​
