Overview
Our professional portion of the conference offers lectures from physicians, radiation therapy professionals, and cancer survivors. We offer 7 ASRT and MDCB approved Continuing Education hours; over half the yearly requirement for radiation therapy professionals. New technologies, patient care and professional development are among the topics that will be discussed at our conference.

Founder Dr. Koneru is a Radiation Oncologist and founder of the Klarifly Foundation, a non-profit organization created to help cancer patients develop the optimal mindset after their cancer diagnosis. He was recently a TEDx speaker where he presented on the topic of empowering those with cancer.

Administrator- Radiation Oncology Charles Washington is a health care administrator with over 24 years experience in radiation oncology, education, and operations at a NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center and academic facility. Co-author of the only comprehensive text for radiation therapy students by radiation therapists.

Associate Director Alex Zafirovski, a past President of the Chicago Area Radiation Therapists is a Board Member of the Make Your Mark Foundation who’s mission is to raise funds and awareness for research into new treatments and cures for pediatric cancers, with an emphasis on neuroblastoma.
