Parking
CART is covering the cost of parking. Parking passes can be picked-up at the registration desk anytime during the meeting. Please retain the ticket you recieve from the parking garage. You will use the ticket and the pass when you are ready to leave. If you enter the garage on Saturday, the passes are good for 24 hours. If you are arriving on Friday and staying multiple days, please see the instructions below.

When entering the parking garage on FRIDAY, run the "Saturday Move Car Parking Alarms" Shortcut. It will automatically set 3 parking reminder alarms for Saturday. I'd suggest moving your car after checking in Saturday morning so you don't miss any part of Saturday's review sessions. This will however mean that your car will need to be moved again early Sunday morning.

The conference has moved back to the 1st floor of the Robert H. Lurie Medical Research Center which is located 2 Blocks East of the Parking Garage. You may enter from either the Superior Street entrance of the Huron Street entrance. There is an open field across from the building on the Huron side.
Check-in begins at 7:00 am for all attendess, however, Students with displays may arrive as early as 6:30 AM. All attendees will check-in by simply picking up their name badge. Students and program directors will also receive a student review book. The review books are only for students and program directors. There are official programs availble for all attendees. You may also pick-up parking passes when checking in. |
The Chicago Area Radiation Therapists (CART) was started back in 1976 as a not-for-profit organization by a group of radiation therapists in the Chicago Area. They started a society through continuing education, refresher courses in relevant subjects, representation of radiation therapists in other professional organizations, and representation in special interest projects-such as development of state licensing laws for all radiation users.
In October of 1977, CART became affiliated with the Illinois State Society of Radiologic Technologists (ISSRT) as District 13. By doing so, we came under the umbrella of American Society of Radiological Technologists (ASRT). Today, CART is stronger then ever. We offer 3 meetings, totaling over 12 CE credits per year. Our speakers range from Physicians, Physicists, Therapists, Nurses, Social Workers, Dosimetrists and other public health officials.
