Each year following the annual conference's conclusion, CART installs elected members to the Board. For the past several years, most of the board positions have rotated between the same group of individuals. To encourage more interest in becoming involved, CART created internships for each board position. The Intern program's goals are to develop and mentor the future leaders of CART.
